Step Up Women’s Network: Connecting and Advancing Women and Girls
February 1, 2011 Leave a comment
Simply stated, Step Up connects you to the professional women you need and the undeserved teen girls who need you.
This national, nonprofit membership program is dedicated to linking and advancing women and girls. Specifically, it is a network of professional women who are connected to underserved, at-risk teenage girls through networking, advancement, and mentorship.
A Founder’s Story
When Kay Popofsky Kramer’s mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, she turned to a group of her closest friends to give support and figure out a way to help in the fight against breast cancer.
Kaye realized that she needed to take a more proactive role in her community, women’s wellness, and her dedication to making a difference. Thus, Step Up Women’s Network was created.
