Save-A-Life: The Happiest Shelter on Earth

Save-A-Life is a 100% all-volunteer, all-donation organization that provides a loving, healthy home for abandoned animals. They have a strict no-kill policy which is quite honorable considering many stray animal organizations are forced to kill animals to make space for others.
Their property is in North Los Angeles. A 10-acre ranch is a perfect place for cats an dogs to run and to play. It is an “open home-like atmosphere” for all of the animals. This makes the animals happier and healthier, and happy, healthy animals are more likely to be adopted. The large space has plenty of room available for needy animals. They do not offer adoptions at this property, but they offer a list of adoption locations.
